Materials & commercial exchange

We review steel, ore and carbon-material offers by grade, analytical basis, inspection scope, quantity and contractual delivery terms.

Commodity Procurement, Quality Basis & Contractual Control

Our published trading focus includes steel products, iron ore, anthracite, coal and industrial raw materials. We connect the industrial application with sourcing, quality review, shipment planning and commercial agreement. The categories below distinguish our existing product pages from wider industry materials that are not confirmed as available DEKOM supply.

01

Sourcing, Purchasing and Contractual Control

A material inquiry should identify end use, grade, quantity, shipment size, destination and required delivery period. Procurement review combines source information with production readiness, product documentation and the proposed commercial basis.

Inspection provisions should identify where samples are taken, who witnesses sampling, the laboratory method, quantity determination and the procedure for resolving discrepancies. Contractual tolerances, rejection thresholds and claims periods should not be inferred from a general product description.

02

Coal & Carbon Materials

Our product pages cover anthracite, thermal coal, metallurgical coal and metallurgical coke; pulverized coal injection (PCI) is included within metallurgical coal. Fuel and carbon-material review considers calorific value, fixed carbon, volatile matter, sulfur, ash, moisture, sizing and the receiving process. The analytical basis—such as as-received or dry—must be stated before comparing offers.

Thermal users evaluate boiler compatibility and useful energy cost. Coke makers assess coking behavior and blend suitability; PCI users consider combustion and grindability. Petroleum coke and other industrial carbon materials are wider market categories in this brief, not confirmed DEKOM offerings.

Bulk cargo commonly moves by rail, truck or ship. Transfer points require appropriate dust control, sampling and moisture protection. Bagged or containerized supply may be suitable for selected products and shipment sizes; handling arrangements remain product- and contract-specific.

03

Steel Products

Our steel range includes flat and long products, tubes and pipes, and different carbon grades. Commercial descriptions may include coils, plates, sheets, structural sections, reinforcing bars and wire rods where the specific offer confirms availability. Billets and slabs are upstream steel forms; their inclusion in an inquiry does not establish a current stock position.

Technical review covers grade, dimensions, dimensional tolerances, surface condition, heat identification, mechanical properties and any required test certificate. EN, ASTM, ISO or Turkish standards should be identified by the exact applicable product standard and edition in the contract, not treated as interchangeable labels.

Steel logistics depends on mass, geometry and surface sensitivity. Coils need suitable cradles and coil-handling attachments; plates and sections need supports, dunnage and load restraint. Road, rail, container or breakbulk transport must account for permissible loads, securing, corrosion exposure and safe lifting.

04

Iron Ore, Ferroalloys and Other Raw Materials

Our iron ore pages distinguish fines, lumps, magnetite and hematite. Review typically considers iron content, gangue chemistry, moisture, particle size and downstream preparation. Ferroalloy review focuses on alloying-element content, residual elements and sizing appropriate to steelmaking or foundry addition.

Ferrous scrap, limestone, lime, sulfur and other industrial minerals are additional industry categories requested in the brief. They are not confirmed as our supplied portfolio. Any future offer would require a defined grade, contamination limits, classification, handling precautions and documentary basis.

Transport and discharge planning must suit the material: bulk ore can use grabs, hoppers and conveyors; bagged ferroalloys may move in containers and discharge by forklift. Cargo-specific marine requirements must be assessed before loading, including moisture-related hazards where applicable.
