Material to industrial application — line drawing
Material to industrial application

We connect customer process requirements with material acceptance, shipment sizing, receiving constraints and contract-specific supply conditions.

Customer requirements differ by process route: ironmaking depends on burden chemistry and permeability; combustion depends on fuel preparation and ash behaviour; fabrication depends on steel grade, delivery condition and tolerances. Plant limitations must therefore accompany a material description.

A technically complete inquiry identifies the end use, required standard, measurable acceptance criteria, consumption profile and receiving equipment. Suitability, production guarantees, inspection access and supply availability require individual confirmation rather than inference from a portfolio page.

01

Our customer focus

Industrial application

Process route, equipment limitations and end-product requirements define suitability.

Product requirements

Grade, analytical basis, tolerances and evidence requirements form the acceptance specification.

Supply conditions

Shipment size, lead time, storage and discharge capacity define delivery constraints.

02

From industrial need to supply discussion

Indicative specification-to-delivery interfaces; sequencing and responsibilities depend on the agreed transaction.

  1. Application

Process route and equipment acceptance limits

  2. Specification

Grade, test basis and inspection documentation

  3. Supply options

Lot availability, shipment size and receiving conditions

  4. Agreement

    Confirmed specification and contractual responsibilities

Commercial interface model, not a confirmed operating procedure. Inspection, handling, risk transfer and settlement obligations require contractual agreement.

Our commercial starting point

Technical acceptance basis
Define grade, analysis or dimensional basis, exact standard and edition, tolerances, sampling and required inspection evidence.
Delivery and receiving constraints
Specify lot quantity, shipment window, named delivery place, transport mode and receiving equipment or discharge limits.
Contract and documentary scope
Agree price and payment basis, Incoterm, quantity determination, required certificates and the procedure for discrepancies and claims.
