Health & Safety

People & engineered separation — line drawing
People & engineered separation

We recognize lifting, mobile equipment, bulk-material handling and maintenance isolation as distinct industrial hazard interfaces.

Risk assessment should identify the task, exposed people, equipment movement and credible failure modes. Suspended loads, vehicle interaction, conveyor nip points, unstable stockpiles and cargo-specific hazards require different controls; a general safety statement is not a safe-work method.

Our prevention perspective follows elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls and personal protective equipment. Site operators must define exclusion zones, isolation, competence, permits and emergency arrangements. Formal DEKOM procedures, training records and incident performance remain pending confirmation.

01

Our safety priorities

People & equipment

Assess vehicle routes, pedestrian segregation, lifting zones and equipment isolation for the specific task.

Cargo & conditions

Review load stability, dust, moisture and cargo-specific hazards against the actual working conditions.

Shared responsibilities

Identify operator, carrier and contractor boundaries, permit authority and emergency coordination.

02

Our prevention priorities

Assessment categories and responsibility interfaces; implementation depends on the activity and accountable operator.

  1. Hazard elimination

Remove the hazardous task or exposure where practicable

  2. Safer alternatives

Assess a demonstrably lower-risk material or method

  3. Engineering protection

Apply guarding, isolation or physical segregation

  4. Operational planning

Define permits, competence, procedures and supervision

  5. Personal protection

Select PPE for residual risk; not a substitute for higher controls

Our responsibility priorities, not a site-specific operating instruction or certification claim.

Assessment boundaries and evidence status

Defined assessment boundary
Identify the activity, operator, reporting period, units and method; distinguish company operations from upstream and downstream impacts.
Traceable supporting evidence
Measured results, audit conclusions and certification claims require identifiable records, methodology and confirmed publication approval.
Policy and performance status
Formal company procedures, quantified targets, incident rates and environmental performance data remain pending verification.

Our sustainability priorities are presented here. Formal company policies, certifications and performance data remain pending confirmation for publication.
